COVENTRY City Women and Girls (CCWGFC) are holding a club day before the Coventry City’s Championship fixture against Burnley this weekend.
The Sky Blues host Burnley on Saturday, April 5 with kick-off at 12.30pm at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
CCWGFC are one of the Sky Blues grassroots partner club’s.
The Sky Blues have provided CCWGC with complimentary tickets.
CCWGFC will also wave flags to welcome the players onto the pitch and act as ball collectors for the fixture.
Parents and volunteers from CCWGFC are also holding a bucket collection pre-match to raise funds for the club.
Coventry have partnered with CCWGFC for the last nine years.
Coventry City Girls FC is an FA Charter Standard club, run by volunteers who proudly wear the Sky Blues badge.
Founded in 1995 the club has expanded to 17 teams ranging from the under-nine age group up to the women’s first-team.
CCWGFC president, Laina Tebbutt, is also a trustee of Sky Blues in the Community.
