COVENTRY City’s final day showdown against Middlesbrough will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event with both teams chasing a play-off spot.

The game takes place on Saturday, May 3 with kick-off at 12.30pm at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

And the match will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event with coverage to start at 11.30am.

The Sky Blues head into the final day of the season in sixth place, currently occupying the final play-off spot.

Coventry sit ahead of Millwall on goal difference with Blackburn Rovers one point further back.

And City’s final day opponents Middlesbrough are two points behind the Sky Blues.

Victory for the Sky Blues would all but guarantee City a play-off spot.

Millwall face a trip to already-promoted Burnley who could win the title if Leeds United slip up at Plymouth Argyle.

And Blackburn travel to Sheffield United with the Blades guaranteed to finish third in the table.

Bristol City sit just one point above Coventry and play relegation-threatened Preston North End on the final day of the season.

The Robins could drop out of the top-six if they fail to win or draw but will secure a fifth-place finish with a victory.

All 12 final day fixtures will be shown live on Sky Sports.
