COVENTRY City striker Haji Wright has earned a place in Mauricio Pochettino’s first United States of America squad.
Wright is one 25 players named in the squad which also includes the likes of Christian Pulisic and Weston McKennie.
Pochettino became USA head coach last month following spells with Tottenham Hotspur, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea at club level.
Sky Blues striker Wright scored in his side’s 3-0 win against Blackburn Rovers in midweek.
He also netted a brace in City’s 3-2 victory against Oxford United earlier this season.
The 26-year-old has scored four goals in 13 appearances for USA’s senior team.
USA host Panama in Texas on Sunday, October 13. They then play Mexico on Wednesday, October 16 in Zapopan.
