COVENTRY Sphinx have appointed brothers Ryan and Joe Conneely as the club’s new joint managers.
The duo replace John Woodward in the Sphinx dugout after Coventry sacked their former boss following a run of eight games without a win.
Ryan acted as interim head coach of Alfreton Town in the National League North earlier this season.
He also took on first team coach roles at Redditch United, Hednesford Town and Quorn.
Joe previously managed Rugby Borough, Coventry Copsewood and Hinckley AFC.
He most recently served as joint manager at Aylestone Park.
Ryan and Joe said: “We are incredibly proud to be given the opportunity to manage Coventry Sphinx.
“Being Coventry born and bred we know what a big club this is and we cannot wait to get started.
“We will give everything to ensure the good work continues, and we are looking forward to representing this great club.”
Sphinx currently sit 18th in the Northern Premier League Midlands table, one point clear of the relegation zone with at least one game in hand on the teams below them.
Coventry are next in action against Lye Town in the Birmingham Senior Cup on Tuesday, January 13 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Cameron Slater Arena.
