COVENTRY Sphinx dropped into the relegation zone following a 1-0 defeat away at play-off chasing Coleshill Town.
The game’s only goal came on 30 minutes at Pack Meadow at Marvellous Onabirekhanlen’s penalty settled the contest.
And the result means Coventry have dropped into the Northern Premier League Midlands drop zone on goal difference with the club 19th in the table.
Sphinx have now failed to win any of their last seven league matches and have not scored in their last three games.
The visitors slipped to a narrow defeat as Onabirekhanlen scored from the penalty spot on the half-hour mark.
Coventry are next in action against Corby Town on Saturday, April 4 with kick-off at 3pm at the Cameron Slater Arena.
