SHAY Willock marked his return from a three-match ban with a goal as Coventry Sphinx drew 1-1 away at Warwickshire rivals Rugby Town.
Willock drew the visitors level on 65 minutes at Butlin Road after Tayo Tucker opened the scoring for Valley shortly before half time while Callum Woodward had a penalty saved after the break.
The result means Sphinx sit 13th in the Northern Premier League Midlands table.
Rugby broke the deadlock on 39 minutes when Tucker finished into an empty net from close range after Sphinx spurned a number of chances to take the lead.
Sphinx won a penalty seven minutes after the break as a Valley player clipped Kyle Carey off the ball inside the box.
However, Sphinx skipper Woodward saw his spot kick saved onto the post by Rugby goalkeeper Paul Hathaway.
The visitors eventually drew level on 65 minutes when Willock deftly lifted the ball over a stranded Hathaway and into the corner of the net.
Coventry are next in action against AFC Rushden and Diamonds on Tuesday, October 8 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Hayden Road.
