COVENTRY Sphinx saw their winless run on the road stretch to five matches following a 1-1 draw against Long Eaton United.
Sphinx led through Jamal Adams’ goal only for Evan Garnett to draw the home side level later in the second half at Grange Park.
The result means Coventry sit 10th in the Northern Premier League Midlands table, six points outside of the play-off places.
After a goalless first period, Sphinx broke the deadlock on 49 minutes when Adams redirected a shot from the edge of the penalty area into the net from close range.
However, Long Eaton equalised on 73 minutes as Garnett headed a cross into the bottom left corner.
Coventry are next in action against Carlton Town on Saturday, November 29 with kick-off at 3pm at the Cameron Slater Arena.
