COVENTRY United chairman John Goodman has stepped down from the role just three games into the 2024/25 season.
The club accepted his decision while first team manager Jamie Hood and assistant manager Arron Eales have also stepped down from their roles following Goodman’s departure.
First team coach Craig Jee has also left the club who sit bottom of the United Counties Premier Division South table after two matches.
A club statement said: “We would like to thank John for the time and effort he has put in to supporting and developing the club.
“He has faced many challenges along the way but with the support of his family he worked tirelessly to achieve success and will always be a huge part of the Coventry United family.
“We are all grateful for the time and dedication that he and his family have put in and the shared aspirations to build a successful family based club for our fans and our community.
“We would like to wish John all the best for his next venture. We hope to see you at all future games and look forward to your continued support.
“We would like to thank both Jamie and Arron and wish them both the best of luck with future opportunities.”
Coventry lost 7-1 at Aylestone Park on the opening day of the season before then losing 5-1 at home to Daventry Town.
The Red and Greens also exited the FA Cup at the extra preliminary round stage following a 3-0 defeat at Sporting Khalsa.
