COVENTRY United played out a 1-1 draw with title challengers Aylestone Park in their first game of the New Year.
United took the lead courtesy of Cameron Dunn’s first-half goal only for Lamar Parkes to level the game for the visitors after the break at Butts Park Arena.
The result means Coventry sit 10th in the United Counties League Premier Division South table, four points outside of the play-off places.
Coventry are next in action against Yaxley on Saturday, January 11 with kick-off at 3pm at Butts Park Arena.
