COVENTRY United produced a five-star performance to beat promotion-chasing Racing Club Warwick 5-1 on Easter Monday.
The Red and Greens stunned Warwick as Daniel Cassidy, Abdul Bambah, Stan Dube, Joe Blowers and Karabo Motshweni all found the net at Butts Park Arena.
That came after United beat Godmanchester Rovers 2-0 at home two days earlier with Blowers and Dube on target.
The results mean Coventry sit 11th in the United Counties League Premier Division South table.
Against local rivals Warwick, United broke the deadlock on 20 minutes when Cassidy tapped home after Callum Carsley played a square ball across his own six-yard box.
And Coventry doubled their lead on 36 minutes as Bambah collected Motshweni’s clever free-kick and finished from six-yards out.
United all but sealed the points on 65 minutes when Dube led a counter attack with Blowers before playing a one-two which ended with the former scoring Coventry’s third goal of the afternoon.
And the home side struck again on 84 minutes as Blowers burst into the box before firing a powerful shot into the net.
Warwick pulled a goal back four minutes later through Louis Monaghan before Motshweni completed the scoring for United in the final minute with a fine finish into the bottom corner.
Coventry are next in action away at Lutterworth Town on Saturday, April 6 with kick-off at 2pm at Dunley Way.
