COVENTRY United secured their first away win since January with an emphatic 4-0 victory away at lowly Eynesbury Rovers.
Jake Williams scored twice whilst Adam Miles also found the net in the first half before Sam Rodber sealed the points in the second period at the Alfred Hall Memorial Ground.
The result means Coventry remain seventh in the United Counties League Premier Division South table.
United took the lead on 26 minutes when Joseph Agunbiade and Harry Chesterton combined to find Rodber who shot goalwards only for the ball to deflect in off the chest of Williams from six-yards out.
And Coventry doubled their lead on 36 minutes as Miles looped a header into the net from 10-yards out from Riley Davoile’s excellent whipped free-kick.
The visitors went further ahead on 43 minutes as Williams powered home his second of the game from close range after Mason Platts was twice denied by the Eynesbury goalkeeper.
United completed the scoring on 58 minutes when Rodber darted into the box and collected Joe Blowers pass before he composed himself and smashed the ball into the back of the net.
Coventry are next in action at home to Rothwell Corinthians on Saturday, March 25 with kick-off at 3pm at Butts Park Arena on Non-League Day.
