JOHN Eustace anticipates another ‘good season’ for Coventry City as the current Derby County boss prepares his side to host the Sky Blues this weekend.
Eustace started his playing career at Coventry after coming through the club’s youth system.
He made 98 appearances for the club and scored 10 goals before departing Stoke City in July 2003.
And the now Derby boss praised City’s players and coaching staff and expects a tough challenge this weekend.
Eustace said: “They’ve got a fantastic squad with a lot of top quality Championship players.
“They’ve got a really good manager and good coaching staff.
“They’re set up for another real good season I’m sure.
“It’s a challenge we’re all looking forward to and I know the boys will be at their best.”
Coventry travel to Derby on Saturday, August 16 with kick-off at 12.30pm at Pride Park.
