THE Football Association (FA) have charged Coventry City head coach Frank Lampard with misconduct.
Lampard received the charge after he was sent off at the end of Coventry’s defeat against Burnley earlier this month.
It is alleged Lampard acted in an improper manner and/or used abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour towards a match official.
The incident occurred on the field of play after the final whistle and led to his dismissal.
Lampard has until Monday, April 14 to respond to the charge.
The Sky Blues head coach was in the dugout for City’s midweek win against Portsmouth.
However, he could miss Coventry’s trip to Hull City on Monday, April 14 if the charge is upheld.
