FRANK Onyeka’s sublime strike for Coventry City against Derby County is on the shortlist for the Championship’s goal of the month award for April.
Onyeka curled a stunning effort into the top-left corner from the right-hand edge of the penalty area to put the Sky Blues ahead in a 3-2 victory.
The goal marked the midfielder’s first for Coventry since arriving on loan with an obligation to buy from Brentford in the January transfer window.
Onyeka helped the Sky Blues win the Championship title as champions.
He will join Coventry on a permanent deal next season following the club’s promotion to the Premier League.
Coventry fans can vote for Onyeka’s goal as their winner in the competition HERE
Ipswich Town’s Kasey McAteer, Charlton Athletic’s Charlie Kelman and Oxford United’s Will Lankshear are also up for the award.
Voting closes on Monday, May 11 at 5pm.
The supporters’ votes will be combined with the choices from a panel to determine the winner.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL experts Don Goodman and David Prutton.
