COVENTRY United have announced Hamad Al Salem has become a new co-owner of the club.
Al Salem is the latest addition to the United board after John Goodman became club chairman last month replacing Michael Kavanagh.
And Coventry also confirmed Ray Nowack as a co-owner of the club shortly after Goodman completed his takeover of the club.
Al Salem said: “I’m excited and proud to become a part of the ownership of Coventry United FC, we have an amazing project planned for next season and I believe with the current people in place we can expect to have many successful years to come.
“I have had a number of meetings with John and other board members and have been impressed with the amount of hard work, dedication and passion already in the club.
“This convinced me to move forward with this investment. The fans can expect exciting football next season.”
Al Salem started his career in banking before leaving the sector to start up his own business – Strategic Security Company – which specialises in physical security equipment.
His company has grown to become one of the market’s leading physical security companies over the last 11 years – winning major contracts with the government of Kuwait
Al Salem later established Onyx Systems, an IT service business which develops customised software for companies and offers software services such as OnyxFit – an easy to use gym management software.
