COVENTRY United were thrashed 4-0 by Highgate United in their FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round replay at The Coppice.
The home side eased into the next round of the famous competition thanks to two goals from Ryan Harkin and further strikes from Joe Cairns and Jack Till.
That came after the teams played out a 2-2 draw at Butts Park Arena last weekend in which both teams led by a single goal before eventually being pulled back.
Coventry boss Ivor Lawton has since resigned from his role as manager due to personal reasons with the club acting swiftly to replace their former manager with Carl Nolan named as his successor.
Highgate will play Market Drayton Town in the next round.
