JACK Rudoni insists Coventry City ‘have a title win’ with promotion in their sights ahead of a trip to Blackburn Rovers.

The Sky Blues can clinch promotion to the Premier League with a draw against struggling Rovers at Ewood Park.

However, Rudoni insists he will not celebrate until the end of the campaign with Coventry favourites to lift the Championship title.

Rudoni said: “We’ve got a title to win. We can celebrate in the summer.

“I’m not fussed about celebrating right now when the season is not finished.

“We can win the title this weekend if things go our way but I’ll only celebrate once we win the title.”

Coventry will take more than 7,000 supporters with them to Ewood Park.

And Rudoni hailed the Sky Blues faithful as the best supporters in the division.

Rudoni added: “They’re are the best fans in the league, they’ve been doing it all year.

“Home and away they fill out the stadium. We’ve had multiple games when we’re playing away and it feel like we’re at home.

“They’re always outsinging and outnumbering home fans. The support they show on and off the pitch is unbelievable.

“It’s a lovely city, you can feel that family connection to the fans. Long may it continue.”

Coventry travel to Blackburn on Friday, April 17 with kick-off at 8pm at Ewood Park.
