JAKE Bidwell hopes Coventry City can ‘go on a bit of a run’ following victory at Millwall in Frank Lampard’s second game in charge of the club.
Bidwell made his first start in over two months at The Den as Ephron Mason-Clark’s second-half goal earned City just their second away win of the season.
And the 31-year-old hopes victory in the capital will lead to a good run of form over the festive period.
Bidwell said: “I’m just pleased to be back and feeling good, the knee feels great, and body feels good.
“I just want to contribute with the boys as well, so hopefully I can do that more and more in a couple weeks.
“There’s always a bit of excitement when things change over, there’s obviously lads that probably didn’t get much of a go before and probably think it’s a chance for them as well.
“The competitions is always raised, the gaffer is trying to get as much information into us as possible without overloading us.
“I think you can see some of the things we’ve worked on and gives us a good base to move forward with.
“Hopefully, we can go on a bit of a run now.”
Coventry are next in action against West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday, December 11 with kick-off at 8pm at The Hawthorns.
