A PHOTO series documenting Coventry City’s final years at their former Highfield Road home has been released.
The pictures feature in the latest edition of ‘Lower Block’ who produce small-run, carefully curated photo zines.
Shot by professional photographer and lifelong Sky Blues supporter Jason Scott Tilley, the black and white images offer an intimate look at Coventry’s former home.
Coventry thrashed Derby County 6-2 in the final match played at Highfield Road in April 2005.
Highfield Road was later demolished in March 2006 and redeveloped for housing.
And Lower Block have released a limited edition photo zine 20 years on from the start of demolition work at Highfield Road.
The photo zine, titled ‘Highfield Road 1999-05’, contains 38 black and white photographs across 44 pages.
The first all-seater football stadium, Highfield Road served as Coventry’s home from 1899 to 2005.
