SCOTT Sinclair feels former teammate Frank Lampard ‘deserves praise’ for the job he has done at Coventry City.
Sinclair came through Chelsea’s youth academy and made 14 appearances for the club in all competitions while Lampard was at the Blues.
He later played for Manchester City and won three league titles, three Scottish Cup’s and two Scottish League Cup’s while at Celtic.
And Sinclair believes Lampard will achieve promotion to the Premier League with Coventry this season.
Speaking to OLBG, Sinclair said: “I’m so happy for Frank Lampard. I think he seems like a great manager, and he gets the players on his side. You can see the players thriving under him.
“Once they get into the Premier League, which I think they will, I’m sure he will build onto the team and bring in a few more players. It’s great to see.
“He has had a mixed time in management so far but he has shown just how good he is since going to Coventry City, he deserves praise.”
