VICTOR Torp insists Coventry City are ‘building momentum’ ahead of a tough trip to Blackburn Rovers tonight.
Torp played the whole 90 minutes as the Sky Blues edged out Bristol City at the Coventry Building Society Arena last weekend.
And the 25-year-old Dane hopes City can end their four-game winless run on the road at Ewood Park tonight.
Torp said: “We go there to put in a good shift and a great performance, obviously we go there to win.
“We can build on something, we can always improve and hopefully we can take the performance [against Bristol City] into the next game and win.
“Everyone in the squad knows it has not been the season we were hoping for, but especially in the last week we have improved, and we have started building some momentum and some confidence in the team.
“As individuals, that is something we can build on now and hopefully put in an even better performance [than against Bristol City].
“We need to put in a great performance, try and get the three points and in this league, you never know going forward.”
Coventry travel to Blackburn on Tuesday, January 21 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Ewood Park.
