A YOUNG Coventry City supporter presented head coach Frank Lampard with a special mug after winning a Sky Blues mascot competition.
City fan Austin won a competition to design a new mug for Lampard.
Austin was also a mascot for Coventry’s game against Leeds United at the Coventry Building Society Arena earlier this month.
The club put Austin’s design on a mug who then presented the mug to Lampard.
Austin was also given a tour of the home dressing room and met the Sky Blues squad.
He then warmed-up with the squad pre-match and walked out onto the pitch with the team before kick-off.
Coventry’s head of supporter services and fan experience, Jodie Jones, said: “We were really impressed with Austin’s design of a new mug for Frank and he had a fantastic experience as our mascot.
“Austin loved meeting Frank and presenting him with his new mug.”
