ATTACKING midfielder Jacob Murphy is celebrating after being named the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Fans’ League One Player of the Month for November.
The 20-year-old has been in lethal form for the Sky Blues in recent weeks having impressed in a new role behind striker Adam Armstrong.
Murphy bagged a hat-trick to help Tony Mowbray’s side beat Gillingham 4-1 in a top-of-the-table clash at the Ricoh Arena and he also bagged an important brace in the 3-1 win at Colchester United, as well as scoring against Northampton in the FA Cup.
After winning the award, Murphy tweeted: “Thrilled to have won @PFA fans player of the month! Thankyou all who voted! Means a lot! Thanks for the kind messages also!! #FPOTM.”
