THE SKY Blues have completed the signings of striker Frank Nouble and defender Aaron Martin.
Nouble had his contract terminated by Ipswich last week and has signed a deal until the end of the season after impressing on an initial three-month loan deal.
The 23-year-old has made 15 appearances for the Sky Blues and scored four goals including a decisive strike in the remarkable 3-2 win over Peterborough United back in October.
Martin has re-joined on an 18-month deal following his release from Yeovil Town.
The 25-year-old returned to the Ricoh Arena for a second loan spell in November and has become an integral part of Steven Pressley’s back four having helped the club keep three clean sheets in his last five appearances.
“We’re delighted to get Frank signed up until the end of the season,” said Pressley.
“During his time at the club, we believe he has shown that he has the potential to develop into a Coventry City player.
“The deal is only until the end of the season and this is a pivotal period in Frank’s career. He must show the supporters and myself during this period that he is worthy of a longer term deal.
“We tried to bring Aaron to the club two years ago and he is a player that I have tracked ever since.
“He is a terrific professional with a real desire to improve and we believe that we can give him the confidence and platform to do so.
“Aaron’s presence at the back has helped contribute to an impressive defensive record recently and we hope to see that continue for the rest of the season.”
