COVENTRY Blaze have confirmed the return of British forward Jack Hopkins for the 2025/26 Elite League season.
Hopkins featured in all 66 Elite League competition games for Blaze last term.
The winger recorded 16 points, five goals and 11 assists, and won the club’s British player of the year award and Elite League’s young British player of the season prize.
Hopkins said: “I had a lot of fun last season and the fans made the Skydome a great place to play.
“I like the mentality Kevin [Moore] has that the club is not happy with mediocrity and we won’t bring anything but the best every weekend next season.”
Blaze head coach, Kevin Moore added: “Jack brings an intensity and work ethic that is really valuable to our team mentality.
“He has good speed and deception, which allows him to make defenders miss through the neutral zone, create transition offense, and get his great shot off.
“I look forward to seeing Jack take another step in his development and be a big part of our success this season.”
The 21-year-old has now amassed 195 appearances in the Elite League, recording 28 points (10 goals, 18 assists).
Hopkins joined Blaze ahead of the 2023/24 season from Nottingham Panthers where he spent two seasons on two-way deals with Telford Tigers and Milton Keynes Lightning.
He has also represented Great Britain at both under-18 and under-20 level.
Hopkins helped Britain win one silver and two bronze medals at the IIHF World Junior Championships (Division IIA).
