COVENTRY Blaze assistant coach, Zach Vinnell, has left the club to pursue an opportunity in North America.
Vinnell spent a single season with Blaze and made 12 appearances for the club on the ice alongside his coaching duties.
The Canadian contributed one goal and five assists in Elite League competition games last season.
Vinnell said: “I want to say a big thanks to the Coventry Blaze for giving me the opportunity to get my feet wet and gain invaluable experience in my first season of coaching.
“The Blaze are in good hands, and I’m excited to see the continued growth in the right direction.
“All the best for the 2025/26 campaign.”
Blaze head coach and director of hockey, Kevin Moore added: “I’d like to wish Zach all the best in the next step of his career.
“I’m happy to have been a part of his coaching journey, and I look forward to seeing where his career takes him.
“I learned a lot from working with Zach, and I’m grateful for our partnership last season.
“Thanks for your contributions to the Blaze, and good luck.”
Vinnell previously helped Sheffield Steelers win the Elite League grand slam in the 2023/24 season.
He played NCAA hockey at Merrimack College from 2019 to 2022.
