COVENTRY Blaze have completed the signing of American forward Grant Mismash for the 2025/26 Elite League season.
The 26-year-old joins Blaze from Elite League rivals Belfast Giants.
He registered 43 points (15 goals and 28 assists) in 66 Elite League games in 2024/25 as the Giants won the Elite League and Challenge Cup titles.
Blaze head coach, Kevin Moore said: “Grant is a dynamic, hard-working player who will be an asset on our powerplay.
“His skill and grit fit perfectly with our style of play on the ice, and his fun-loving attitude will be a great addition to our locker room.
“I’m looking forward to coaching Grant this season.”
Mismash spent the 2023/24 campaign in Europe with Swedish side Ostersunds IK and Norwegian outfit Stjernen Hockey.
He amassed 46 points (13 goals and 33 assists) across 45 games in all competitions with the two European clubs.
Minnesota native Mismash began his career with the Nashville Predators of the NHL.
He made 57 appearances for Nashville’s AFL affiliate side the Milwaukee Admirals.
And he signed for Tampa Bay Lightning the following year where he spent two seasons with Tampa Bay’s affiliate club Syracuse Crunch in the AHL and Orlando Solar Bears in the ECHL.
