COVENTRY Blaze have signed promising young forward Mack Stewart for the upcoming 2025/26 Elite League season.
The 20-year-old joins Blaze following a campaign which saw him play on a two-way deal with Belfast Giants and Milton Keynes Lightning.
He made five Elite League appearances and played 61 times in NIHL competitions.
Stewart racked up 65 points (31 goals, 34 assists) during the regular season and added seven points (three goals, four assists) in the play-offs as MK Lightning secured the Championship.
The youngster previously guested for the club in the 2023/24 campaign and recently took part in David Clements’ testimonial game.
Blaze head coach, Kevin Moore said: “Mack is an exciting young player with good speed.
“His relentless effort as a forechecker and playmaking ability fits our style of play perfectly.
“We are excited to welcome Mack to Coventry this season.”
He is a product of Belfast’s youth system and has made 63 appearances in the Elite League and has also featured in the Champions Hockey League.
Stewart contributed to three of Belfast’s Elite League titles and the Grand Slam-winning season in 2022/23.
He has represented Great Britain at under-18 and under-20 level, competing in the IIHF World Championship Division 2A and earned two bronze medals and a silver during his time with the national junior teams.
