COVENTRY Blaze have signed Danish forward William Boysen for the 2025/26 Elite League season.
The 28-year-old completed Blaze’s forward line-up and joins from his native SonderjyskE of the Danish Metal Ligaen.
Boysen spent the last five seasons with SonderjyskE and formed part of the side which won the Danish Championship in 2023/24.
Blaze head coach, Kevin Moore, said: “William is a high-IQ player who reads the game at a very high level.
“He’ll bring skill and a strong work rate in all three zones to our club.
“Beyond his ability on the ice, he’s a high-character individual who is team first.
“I’m excited to welcome him to Coventry.”
Boysen made his professional debut with Seier Capital where he spent four seasons and won the Danish Cup in 2016/17.
He also spent a season with the Frederikshavn White Hawks.
Boysen made a total of 416 games in the Metal Ligaen and registered 211 points (84 goals, 127 assists).
He also featured in 74 post-season games as he tallied 25 points (10 goals, 15 assists) and has competed in four editions of both the Continental Cup and Champions Hockey League.
Boysen has represented Denmark at every major junior level and made his senior debut for the national team during the 2019/20 season.
