90 – Baldwin is yellow-carded for a late foul on Thomas outside the area. 1-0

Just under five minutes to go here for the Sky Blue to hold out for three points on Legends Day 2017.

83 – The game has picked up now. This time it’s the Sky Blues who come close. Beavon wins back possession inside the visitors’ penalty area and feeds Thomas whose first-time shot looked destined for the bottom corner but McGee got down well to make an important save. 1-0

82 – Peterborough come close again! Substitute Taylor makes space for a cross down the left and Morais meets it with his head right in front of goal but he headed straight at the City goalkeeper. 1-0

76 – Not much to report on here in terms of action over the past ten minutes or so but the home supporters are creating a cracking atmosphere!

The Sky Blues are playing some really good football at the moment. The hosts are knocking the ball around confidently, the crowd are loving it!

55 – The visitors come ever so close to equalising! Smith hits a dangerous cross in from the right and Samuelsen meets it with his header but he somehow missed the target right in front of goal. 1-0

The home supporters are in good voice now! Some are even chanting ‘we are staying up’!

52 – GOAL FOR THE SKY BLUES!!! Lameiras opens the scoring! The tricky winger is picked out in the penalty area and drags a left-footed shot into the bottom corner. 1-0

49 – Binnam-Williams takes the ball round Thomas down the left and hits a dangerous looking cross but none of his team mates were on the same script and the ball went out for a goal kick. 0-0

The players are making their way back onto the pitch. The second half is just moments away…

Over 40 former players are currently being introduced onto the pitch for the club’s annual Legends Day 2017.

HALF-TIME. It remains goalless at the break here at the Ricoh Arena. Mark Robins’ side perhaps should be in front and have created he better chances but there has been no breakthrough yet.

45+2 – Lameiras shots from the edge of the ball but his effort lacked any real power and was a comfortable take for McGee. 00

Three minutes of added on time

45 – Another chance comes and goes for the Sky Blues. Thomas does brilliantly to beat his man but instead of shooting he chips the ball to Beavon who gets a touch but the ball goes agonisingly wide of goal. 0-0

39 – MISSED!!! The penalty is missed! Samuelsen fires down the middle but Burge is able to make an excellent save! 0-0

39 – PENALTY! The visitors are awarded a penalty after Samuelsen is brought down inside the box…

36 – It’s Peterborough’s turn to come close to taking the lead. The ball bounces up nicely for Mackail-Smith who volleys towards goal but his efforts drops inches wide of Burge’s left-hand post. A close call for the home side. 0-0

33 – Angry boos from the home support as the referee stops play so that Maddison can receive treatment for an injury. 0-0

31 – The Sky Blues come close again! Thomas delivers a corner into the box which is met by the knee I think of Clarke who peels away celebrating but McGee somehow keeps the ball out 0-0

28 – BIG CHANCE! The Sky Blues almost take the lead and what a goal it would have been. Beavon produces an acrobatic scissor kick and volleys the ball towards the top corner but his effort comes back off the bar. Moments later Lameiras tries his luck from the edge of the box but his shot takes a deflection and goes inches wide! 0-0

22 – A bit of a break in play as Beavon receives treatment for a head injury. Both sets of players are taking in some fluids by the touchline. 0-0

21 – Smith is slipped in and gets the byline before delivering a dangerous cross but Burge does well to palm the ball away. 0-0

13 – Maddison finds space on the right-hand side of the penalty area and unleashed a powerful low shot which Burge pushes behind for a corner. 0-0

The warm weather and Legends Day has attracted a strong crowd here today!

12 – Neat play between Lamieras and Beavons on the edge of the area ends with Beavon shooting at goal but his effort his well blocked by Bostwick. 0-0

Ten minutes have been played so far and the Sky Blues have had two half chances to go in front. First Ruben Lameiras struck a curling hot narrowly wide and moments later a goal-mouth scramble almost ended with Clarke firing home from close range. Still 0-0

Apologies we’re having a few technical issues here, but they seem to be sorted now.

The players are out on the pitch now, we’re just minutes away from kick-off.

In what was a an emotional interview, Sillett described the Sky Blues fans as ‘the best in the world’!
