2.40pm – That’s the end of the press conference

2.39pm – Robins – I’m Not a miracle worker. I have to build trust. It has to start somewhere and it has to be now. The supporters have suffered long enough. I want the fans to get behind the club.

2.38pm – Robins – I’ve got a feeling of pride. Under no illusions the job is difficult. It’s exciting. I need to be backed to implement the best process to attract the best players to this football club.

2.36pm – Robins – Supporters were so good last time. All I ask is for them to support the players. There’s a lot of young lads in the dressing room. We’ve got some more experienced players that can make a difference. Seven of our final games are at home. Whoever comes through the door at the Ricoh has to be proud to represent them. We’re going to do our upmost to salvage some pride in our season.

2.35pm – Robins – I want to try and make a difference. It’s about having a strong feeling and connection with the club. Some people will thing managers are crazy going through the same emotions at different clubs. Probably the most different jobs in the country. A unique set up circumstances. It can be done.

2.33pm – Robins – We need to rebuild the trust with fans. It’s about having a plan that you can implement and we need to implement that as quickly as possible. You’ve got to have good facilities and good areas for fans to support the club. I’ve got power over the team and recruitment.

2.31pm – Robins – There’s an irony that we’re going to Wembley after what happened last time. I’m really pleased that I’ve been given the opportunity again and I hope to make a difference.

2.29pm – Robins – Whole range of things that need to be resolved but the most important is the team. We need to put some good performances in now until the end of the season. I’ve got a clear vision. We’ve got to take every game as it comes. The academy has produced some good young players over the years and we have to make sure that’s as safe as it possibly can be. 100 per cent chance we can still stay up this year. Eight wins is what we need and we believe we can put some better performances in.

2.27pm –  Robins – The whole structure needs looking at. We need the right people in to deliver what we need. We need a really cohesive recruitment department. It’s a well supported club that needs to be doing better.

2.25pm – Robins – Relationships between the club, supporters and players needs to be better. I came in on the basis that we can move the club forward. You can’t for that job unless you’ve got the tools. It is at big job. It’s different managerial job compared to anywhere else in the country.

2.24pm – Robins – Been here before. I enjoyed it, moved to Huddersfield. Look at what the club nearly achieved last season. Look at the way supporters were with me last time. They fell away last season and it’s been difficult to watch this season. Too great an opportunity to resist.

2.20pm – Robins has arrived

2.10pm – Still waiting on the manager here. He’s doing a few interviews outside for television. He should be with us shortly.

2pm – The manager is currently outside posing for photos outside, while we wait for his arrival upstairs here’s a link to our exclusive chat with Robins from Monday –
