BRINKLOW under-14’s extended their unbeaten run to five games, when blowing away Coventrians 7-0 in the Coventry & Warwickshire Youth League Division D.
Dan Frodsham came to the fore with a hat-trick, whilst Ryan Prior and Harry Shorten added a brace each to their side’s cause.
The visitors flew out of the traps and forced the opposition keeper into a number of saves, eventually going ahead when Arjun-Veer Singh Sembi’s through ball put Frodsham into a promising position.
He promptly drifted through three players en route to scoring the opener.
Shorten put away a rebound shortly after, whilst Prior added a third from close-range.
Brinklow took further control of the game in the second-half, with Matty Natawidjaja and Frodsham setting up braces for Prior and Shorten.
Natawidjaja and Dylan Smith played a crucial role in laying on the further two goals for Frodsham, as he wrapped up his hat-trick and claimed the man-of-the-match award.
Currently sitting fourth in the table, Brinklow head into the first of their final three fixtures of the season at home to Southam United on Sunday (10am), a side who sit second at present.
