BREA Angliss has teamed up with title-winning Breakell Racing for the remainder of her debut season in the Ginetta Junior Championship.

The decision for Angliss to move teams was made in order to ensure the 15-year-old maximises her track time and development this season, starting at Donington Park next weekend (May 27/28).

Breakell Racing are a hugely experienced Lancashire based team who have established themselves as a leading team in the Ginetta paddock in recent years.

Angliss said: “It’s not the easiest decision to move teams during a season, but after some frustrations over the opening two events, we feel it’s the best way forward.

“Breakell Racing have enjoyed some great results with Ginetta in recent years so I’m confident they’ll give me a quick race car, and I’m looking forward to working with them.”

Breakell Racing Team Principal, James Breakell, added: “We’re really happy to be welcoming Brea into the Breakell Racing family.

“We hope to be able to support her in the early stages of her career, as we have done with other young drivers in the past, and look forward to a successful season together.”

Last season, the team scored a race victory and the G56 Am drivers title in the GT4 SuperCup alongside race wins in the GT Academy.

The team, who also compete in top-level GT4 and prototype racing, previously raced in the Ginetta Junior Championship back in 2021 and scored a rookie class podium finish and a number of overall top-10 finishes with a first-year driver.

Angliss is contesting her first full-season of car-racing this year and enjoyed an encouraging start in the Oulton Park opener as she secured an impressive top-10 finish in the first race.

However, she endured a tough outing at Silverstone in her last set of races due to reliability issues outside of her control.
