BLAKE Angliss is determined to showcase his talent one last time this season ahead of the Ginetta GT Championship finale at Donington Park next weekend.
The highly-rated young driver, from Coventry, finished as runner-up in the G55 Pro class of the Ginetta GT4 SuperCup last year.
And he has enjoyed two fantastic appearances in the Championship so far this season, recording nine podium finishes from as many races.
Angliss said: “I’m very excited to be getting back on the Ginetta GT Championship grid for the final rounds of the season.
“We had two fantastic outings earlier this year, so I was determined to get a deal together to race once more and show everyone what I can do again.
“Donington Park GP is a brilliant circuit and with the support of a great team in Xentek Motorsport, I’m confident we can go there and fight at the front of the field again.
“Thank you to Transend UK, Haigh Engineering and Concept Garage Equipment for their continued support.”
Xentek Motorsport Team Manager, Sarah-Jayne McKenna added: “We’re very excited to have Blake joining our team for the final round of the season.
“He’s a talented young driver and his podium record across his two outings this season is hugely impressive, so we’re hoping to build on that and bring home some more silverware at Donington Park.”
Angliss made a stunning debut at Silverstone as part of the prestigious ‘G Fest’ event back in June as he took out four perfect lights-to-flag victories and two further podiums.
And he followed up that success with a top-three treble in the next rounds of the Championship at Snetterton.
Angliss’s return to the grid comes with leading outfit Xentek Motorsport.
The Sheffield-based outfit are one of the most successful Ginetta teams in recent history.
Xentek have secured three Championship titles this season including the GT Championship Teams’ crown.
The Coventry-based racer will get back behind the wheel of a Ginetta G56 GT Pro during pre-event testing before tackling qualifying and three races across the weekend of October 21/22.
The action will take place over the Grand Prix circuit at Donington Park.
