BULKINGTON-based racing driver Adam Jones enjoyed a dominant weekend as he won both Carbon8 Coupe Cup with Toyo Tyres races at Donington Park.
Jones started race one from second on the grid and raced into the lead which he held until the chequered flag as he finished ahead of previous champion Wayne Rockett by more than a second.
And Jones then won race two from pole position in another comfortable race as he coasted to victory ahead of Italian driver Luca Staccini.
The 20-year-old now leads the series going into the last two rounds with the next round to take place in Pembrey, Wales.
Team Owner Roger Owens said: “I have been impressed with his progress this season and on this form he could go all the way to the British Touring Cars.”
Jones added: “I can’t wait. This is a dream start to my racing career.”
