ICE HOCKEY: NETMINDER Kevin Nastiuk admitted he will only worry about what he can control after Blaze crashed to fifth successive loss on Sunday.
Table topping Cardiff Devils only managed to defeat Nastiuk five times in 120 minutes of hockey over the weekend, but that was all Devils needed as they earned 2-1 and 3-2 wins respectively.
Nastiuk said: “I will worry about the things I can control. It’s tough at times but I try to stay positive.”
The 32-year-old added his side must do more to close out games if they are to challenge for a playoff spot.
“We’re finding ways to lose games rather than win them,” said Nastiuk.
“It’s been like it all season, we need to do a better job at closing out games.
“It comes down to the little things, we’re taking penalties and the results speak for themselves.”
