FOOTBALL: MARK Robins’ Sky Blues side will fly out to Spain at the start of July as preparations for the club’s upcoming League Two campaign continue.
The Sky Blues will fly out to the Alicante region on Sunday, July 9, following the opening pre-season friendly at Sutton.
They will return to the UK on Saturday, July 15.
Robins has arranged two fixtures while on the continent, with matches to take place on Tuesday, July 11, and Friday, July 14.
Opposition and venue are to be confirmed.
The tour will present an ideal opportunity for players to bond while undergoing training and fitness work ahead of the League Two campaign which kicks off on the weekend of August 5.
Robins said: “It’s really important that we get everybody together in a different environment to prepare intensely for the season ahead.
“It will be very competitive and a vital part of our preparation.”
