Referee shortage prompts recruitment drive in Coventry Alliance League

Coventry Editorial 19th Dec, 2017   0

FOOTBALL: REFEREES are sought to officiate games in the Coventry Alliance Football League.

The league, which operates on Saturdays, has a shortage of referees and requires fresh legs to help take charge of weekend fixtures.

And budding officials are being encouraged to take part in an upcoming course, hosted by the Birmingham County FA.

Blue Coat School on Terry Road in Coventry will host a one-day course on Wednesday, February 28.

The cost of the course is £145, though officials can expect to earn this money back after taking charge of five matches.

Visit www.birminghamfa.com for further information and to sign up to the course.
