RUGBY UNION - Coventry Rugby academy player called up to England pathway squad

AN ACADEMY player from Coventry Rugby recently earned a place in England’s pathway squad for a front five development camp.

Will Dorrell, a student at the King’s School in Worcester, becomes Coventry’s first academy player to feature in the specialist front five programme.

The 18-year-old hooker and Coventry academy player took part in the camp held at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre in Marlow.

Coventry’s academy manager, Matt Jones said: “Will is an outstanding individual within our academy set-up and has made significant progress over the past few months, thanks to his own commitment, exposure to senior training opportunities, and the excellent support he receives at The King’s School, Worcester.

“He has a bright future in the game, and we look forward to supporting his next steps as he takes on this new stage.”
