COVENTRY Rugby began pre-season with an entertaining 59-31 win against Welsh side Rygbi Gogledd Cymru (RGC) 1404.
Coventry took to the field for the first time as the club gear up for the start of the new season at Butts Park Arena.
Both Oli Morris and David Opoku crossed twice for the home side with the hosts also awarded a penalty try.
And Murray Davidson, Josh Barton, Eliot Salt and Tom Ball all touched down as Coventry made the perfect start to their pre-season campaign.
Coventry are next in action against Caldy on Saturday, September 13 with kick-off at 3pm at Butts Park Arena.
