COVENTRY Rugby captain Jordon Poole has agreed to remain with the club for the 2026/27 season.

The influential hooker will enter his fifth season with Coventry after joining the club in 2022.

Poole is the first player to commit to the club next season.

Poole said: “I’m grateful to have re-signed with the club for next season.

“Since I signed back in 2022, the club has made strides on and off the pitch, and next season will be no different.

“Big things ahead.”

Coventry head coach, Alex Rae added: “It’s fantastic to have Jordon with us again.

“In my opinion, he’s the best hooker in the league and leads by example week in, week out.

“More importantly, he’s a tremendous person who cares deeply about the club and is hungry to make memories with this group.”
