RUGBY UNION - Coventry Rugby make one change for final day fixture against London Scottish

COVENTRY Rugby have made one enforced change to the starting line-up for their final game of the Championship season against London Scottish.

Wing David Opoku has not recovered from the injury which forced him from the field in Coventry’s defeat at Ealing Trailfinders last time out.

That means on-loan Glasgow full-back Logan Trotter shifts across the back three to the right flank with Liam Richman to start at full-back.

Captain Jordon Poole starts in the middle of the front row alongside centre Tom Hitchcock.

And Josh Barton features on the bench with the scrum-half in line to complete a full set of 28 appearances this season should he appear as a replacement.

Hooker Will Biggs sits on the replacements bench with Suva Ma’asi also included as back row cover.

And Theo Mannion also makes the bench ahead of his final Coventry appearance.

Coventry head coach, Alex Rae said: “The game at London Scottish feels so long ago now that we’ve paid it no attention this week.

“By this point in the season we know how we want to play the game and we’ve got a pretty good idea of how Scottish will go about things so our preparation has been all about making sure we put in a performance and sign off in a positive manner.”

The club will also bid farewell to 19 of their squad on the pitch at the end of the game.
