COVENTRY Rugby have named their squad for their Champ Rugby opener against Worcester Warriors at Sixways Stadium.
Head coach Alex Rae has named his first 23-man squad of the 2025/26 season.
Captain Jordon Poole starts at hooker with Toby Trinder at loosehead prop and Matt Johnson at tighthead.
Behind them, Jack Shine and Senitiki Nayalo start in the second row with Dan Green, Tom Ball and Morgan Strong in the back row.
In the backs, new signings Sam Maunder and Josh Thomas start at Rae’s preferred half-back pairing.
And Morgan Adderly-Jones partners Oli Morris in the centres.
Out wide, Peter Sullivan and David Opoku-Fordjour start on the wing while Tom Bacon completed the line-up at full-back.
On the bench, Suva Ma’asi, Aristot Benz-Salomon and Eliot Salt will provide support to the front row with Alan Ferrie and Mackenzie Graham completing the forward options.
In the backs, Josh Barton, Tommy Mathews and Ewan Baker are all available from the bench.
Coventry travel to Worcester on Saturday, October 4 with kick-off at 2pm at Sixways.
