RUGBY UNION - Coventry Rugby name squad for final day clash with Worcester Warriors

COVENTRY Rugby have named their squad ahead of the club’s final game of the Champ Rugby season against Worcester Warriors.

Alex Rae’s side suffered defeat at Cornish Pirates last time with Cov and Worcester in a straight shootout for third place in the table.

Captain Jordon Poole skippers the side at hooker and joins Aristot Benz-Salomon and Matt Johnson in the front row.

In the second row, Senitiki Nayalo partners Mackenzie Graham while the back row features Allan Ferrie, Tom Ball and Morgan Strong.

At half-back, Josh Barton links up with Josh Thomas while Api Bavadra and Oli Morris combine in midfield.

The back three sees Jack Reeves and David Opoku-Fordjour on the wings with Tom Bacon at full-back.




Coventry’s replacements include Murray Davidson,  Keston Lines Eliot Salt and Sam Harding.

While Onisivoro Sukani Nayagi, Sam Maunder, Tommy Mathews and Dafydd-Rhys Tiueti complete Coventry’s matchday squad.


Coventry host Worcester on Saturday, May 9 with kick-off at 3pm at the Nick Newbold Stadium.
