COVENTRY Rugby will start the season with a trip to London Scottish after the Championship released the fixtures for the 2024/25 season.

Cov travel to London Scottish on Friday, September 20 before hosting Bedford Blues in their first home game of the season on Saturday, September 28.

After games against Cambridge (October 5), Chinnor (October 12) and Caldy (October 19) the Championship calendar takes a similar shape to that of the Premiership with the Autumn International and Six Nations windows kept clear of league action.

The Premiership Rugby Cup will take place during those windows with fixtures announced at a later date.

Cov return to league action against Ampthill (November 30) before hosting Hartpury University (December 7) and then travelling to Cornish Pirates (December 14).

Alex Rae’s side can look forward to a Christmas cracker against Ealing Trailfinders (Saturday, December 21) before making the trip to Nottingham in their last game of the year (Saturday, December 28).

Cov host Doncaster Knights (January 18) in their first game of the New Year before travelling to Bedford Blues (January 25).

Rae’s men return to league action against Cambridge (March 22) and then play Chinnor (March 29), Caldy (April 5), Ampthill (April 12) and Hartpury (April 19).

Coventry host the Pirates (May 3) to start a busy final month of the season before playing away at Doncaster (May 10).

Rae’s side entertain Nottingham (May 17) before travelling to defending champions Ealing (Saturday, May 24) in a potential title decider.

Cov finish the campaign at home to London Scottish (Saturday, May 31).
