RUGBY UNION - Kvesic returns to Coventry Rugby side for Doncaster Knights trip

MATT Kvesic has returned from injury to feature for Coventry Rugby ahead of their trip to face in-form Doncaster Knights this weekend.

The former England flanker has missed Coventry’s last 11 games with a ruptured bicep injury.

Cov’s back row is further boosted by the return of number eight Senitiki Nayalo following a one-week absence to play in an Army-Navy encounter at Twickenham.

Tom Ball retains his place on the blindside flank while Rhys Anstey combines with Dan Green in the second row.

Alex Rae also makes changes to the forwards on the bench as flanker Aaron Hinkley returns from a three-match suspension.

Hinkley’s return allows Suva Ma’asi to revert to covering his preferred hooker role while Chester Owen provides options across the back five of the pack.

Behind the scrum, David Opoku starts on the right wing with top try-scorer Jimmy Martin on the opposite flank while on-loan Glasgow full-back Logan Trotter completes the back three.

Cov move Oli Morris to inside centre with Jake Henry handed a first opportunity in the number 13 shirt.

They appear outside on-loan Exeter scrum-half Sam Maunder and leading points scorer Tommy Mathews who make up Coventry’s half-back combination for a seventh time.
