RUGBY UNION - Mass overhaul at Coventry Rugby with 19 players to depart club at end of season

COVENTRY Rugby have retained 15 players for next season while 19 players will leave the club at the end of the campaign.

Captain Jordon Poole, Fijian giant Tiki Nayalo and the club’s leading try scorer this season Jimmy Martin head the list of retained players.

Also remaining at the club next season are: Toby Trinder, Tom Ball, Suva Ma’asi, Josh Barton, Matt Johnson, David Opoku, Tommy Mathews, Eliot Salt, Oli Morris, Daf-Rhys Tiueti, Chester Owen and Dan Green.

However, Alex Rae is keen to freshen up his squad after the club endured a difficult second half of the season in the Championship this campaign.

Experienced pair Matt Kvesic and James Tyas will join the returning Worcester Warriors.

Also departing are: Aaron Hinkley, Charlie Robson, Daniel Okeke, Fin Ogden, Jake Henry, Jevaughn Warren, Liam Richman, Obinna Nkwocha, Rhys Anstey, Ryan Hutler, Theo Mannion, Tom Hitchcock, Vilikesa Nairaiu, Will Biggs and Will Lane.
