RUGBY UNION - Wasps make three changes for Bristol clash

Coventry Editorial 17th Sep, 2022   0

WASPS have made three changes to their side ahead of their Gallagher Premiership clash with Bristol Bears this weekend.

Jack Willis, Will Porter and Ali Crossdale will play from the start at the Coventry Building Society Arena having been named as replacements last time out.

That means Dan Robson drops to the bench with Brad Shields and Matteo Minozzi not included in the squad due to injury.

Willis comes into the back row and is joined by brother Tom and Alfie Barbeary whilst captain Joe Launchbury lines up alongside Kiran McDonald in the second row.

Robin Hislop, Tom Cruse and John Ryan form the front row to complete the pack.

In the backs, Josh Bassett and Zach Kibirige continue on the wings, with Crossdale at full back following an impressive display against Gloucester last weekend.

Burger Odendaal and Sam Spink resume the centre partnership, while Porter and Charlie Atkinson link up as the half-backs.

Amongst the replacements, new signing Will Haydon-Wood is on the bench along with Dan Frost, Tom West, Biyi Alo, Tim Cardall, Nizaam Carr, Robson and Ryan Mills.
