Coventry Editorial 20th Jul, 2022   0

WASPS’ fixtures for the 2022/23 Gallagher Premiership season have been released with an away trip to Gloucester awaiting Lee Blackett’s side on the opening weekend.

Wasps begin their campaign at Kingsholm on Sunday, September 11 before hosting Bristol Bears in their first home game of the season at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday, September 17.

The club’s first bye week comes in round four following a Friday night away trip to Bath in round three.

Wasps renew their bitter rivalry with Leicester Tigers at Welford Road on Sunday, October 23 with the return fixture scheduled for Saturday, May 6 – the final game of the Gallagher Premiership season.

And Wasps can look forward to a Christmas Eve home clash with Worcester Warriors before travelling to Bristol on New Year’s Eve.

Premiership Cup fixtures and European Challenge Cup fixtures will be confirmed in due course.
