ICE HOCKEY: BLAZE have moved to sign 5’9″ forward Dorian Peca for the second half of the Elite League season.
Despite arriving on Monday, Peca will first be available for selection against the Guildford Flames on Saturday, January 13.
He last iced for KH GKS Katowice in Poland during 2016/17 – registering nine goals and six assists in 22 regular season and playoff games.
Stewart said: “Dorian will bring a bit of speed to our line-up and the ability to play both positions helps us with injury cover.
“With (Garrett) Ladd, (Edgars) Bebris and Patrik (Moisio) leaving we’ve been looking to fill that tenth forward spot again.
“I think he’ll provide some quality, competition and depth which will be crucial in the second half of the season. We’re excited to get him in the line-up.”
